At Letsby Avenue we believe in looking after our tenants. We listen carefully to your requirements and will help you find a property that meets your specific needs.

We let and manage furnished and unfurnished flats and houses throughout ‘West & North Yorkshire’. Please click on ‘Properties’ above to view a shortlist, although our stock changes daily and you should contact us for current availability or to register your requirements. All of our managed properties are GAS SAFE gas safety certificated, and inspected for electrical safety, and furniture fire safety

Security deposits (bonds) are held by The Deposit Protection Service in accordance with recommended practice. You can use the menu bar above to find other related information.

Finding a property

The first step is to contact us to provide brief details about yourself and about the accommodation you require. We then search our database for suitable properties for you to view. If not urgent, we log your details so that we can contact you as suitable properties become available. It is wise to start looking about a month before you wish to move, as the nicer properties are viewed and reserved quickly. Our tenancies are granted for a minimum term of six months.

If you find a property that is not managed by Letsby Avenue, speak to the owner and ask them to contact us, not only can we save them money on fees but we can also save you the cost of administration fees and other hidden costs that other agencies charge.

Set up Direct Debit

Please click on the button below to set a direct debit up for your rent. You will be redirected to a secure site where you will be required to input your details. This site is secure and your details will not be seen by anyone at Letsby Avenue or by any other 3rd party.

Letsby Avenue do not encourage payments by debit or credit card due to the extra charges made by the banks. Please contact us direct to receive details of our bank account for direct bank transfers. Viewings

Viewings will be arranged at times to suit you, including evenings and weekends, and you will invariably be accompanied by a member of staff, who can give advice and answer any questions you may have.

Rents

Rents are normally quoted calendar monthly and payable monthly in advance. The tenant is usually also responsible for Council Tax, Water Rates, Gas, Electricity and Telephone costs unless otherwise stated. All rents are payable either by bank standing order or by debit/credit card. Credit/debit card payments are subject to a 2% fee. Please click here to pay by card.

Deposits

A security deposit of a minimum of one month’s rental must be paid, and will be held securely by The Deposit Protection Service throughout the tenancy term. This is held to cover damage, breakages, and any other liabilities under the terms of your tenancy agreement. Please note that under no circumstances can the deposit be used by the tenant to cover rent. Please click here to pay your deposit by credit or debit card. Fees

We do not charge any administration or set up fees. We believe that moving house is costly enough and hidden costs can increase the stress and burden placed upon you. We operate a no fees approach for tenants.

Repairs

Redress

All letting agents are required to be part of a Redress Scheme. Letsby Avenue are proud to be a part of the PRS (Property Redress Scheme).
